Cleaning

Unlike other constructions, TermoKaust stove does not provide access to flues. This solution prevents from stove’s depressurization during maintenance works and allowed us to remove the washout holes from the tiled casing. Maintenance works and cleaning should start from the stove’s interiors. In order to do so, please prize from both sides the cast iron lid mounted in the furnace’s floor and take it out. Here we have access to the flue gas cumulative chamber, where four vertical passes and connecting pipe meet. During correct operation, the chamber should not be excessively polluted with soot. However, it is necessary to check condition of the chamber from time to time, according to specification provided in the operation manual.

If there is a need to clean passes and chamber, then please use flexible wire brush inserting it into individual passes and connecting pipe. Then remove residues. Access to the upper chamber (over the furnace) is possible through a cast iron nozzle. It allows easy removal of all residues.

All maintenance and cleaning works should be conducted on a cold stove.
